HAPPY BIRTHDAY

It has been a very successful day today. I feel good and accomplished. It was my most favoristest cousin LeDawn's birthday today, so I took a trip to Idaho Falls to spend her birthday with her and Adam. We went to Olive Garden (one of my personal favorites) and then to a movie. We went to go see The Help. And oh my can I just say that is one of my top 5 favorite movies. It was fantastic. I don't think there was one dry eye in the theater... minus Adam's eyes of coarse... men don't have souls. And usually I don't have a soul either. It takes A LOT to make me cry. Especially a movie, in a public setting. I don't think I've ever cried in a movie theater. But this movie will make you mad, laugh, cry, all of the above. Emma Stone is kind of one of my favorites so that just adds to the amazingness of the movie.

After the movie a lady needed to borrow a phone because hers died and needed to reach her daughter and her husband that was stuck at the theater. So after a couple of minutes trying to reach them she found out they were at a gas station. In the midst of all this she was telling me her life story. How she met her husband and they've been married for 42 year, family history, her 11 kids, their insurance/lawyer business covering vegas. I think she was just happy to share her story. Normally I would think this is weird, but the more time I'm up at college the more time I'm growing up and take lessons from things. I think we all should be eager to share our stories... maybe not with a random stranger, but I think she was impressed to do so. We should want to share our lives, because we should be proud of what we've accomplished. I couldn't help but leave her with a huge smile on my face. So I just proceeded home with music blaring driving down the highway. Next to laughter, driving with music blaring is the best cure for anything. It doesn't allow you to think about anything. It's just you, the road, and your favorite sounds. All and all I really enjoyed today.

Favorite for the day.
