Enjoying the little things

It has been exactly a week since I have started my 4th semester. And I can firmly say that this is the hardest I have ever worked in my entire life. The constant rushing from one class to another, and when I'm not in class I get to the privileged to do the thousands of pages of reading for my classes. You think there would be relief once I get all my work done, but oh know. There is always more work to be done. It's basically like I am living in the never ending story.

However, I was determined to take a break tonight. So my roommates and a friend went to the most lovable sammys for some grub and to witness the awful karaoke night they have. It's alway entertaining to watch kids think they are entertaining when really they are just straight out embarrassing themselves. It was a nice change of pace to just chillax after my most busiest day of the week. To top it all off, it was onesie wednesday, so that inspired tay, tiff and I to sport our onesie's to all of our beloved, privileged friends. 

While we were showing off our awesomeness, I then realized this is why I kill myself at school. I am getting an awesome education, which I'm very grateful for, but I do it for the experiences. That's what makes living away from home completely worth it! Rexburg can be cold and miserable and all the above. But the amazing thing is, in one second it can all turn around. It just takes you seeing that one old friend, or doing that one random thing that will turn your whole experience around. It's all about learning how to deal with the extremely highs, all time lows, and the mediocre middle. When you get to your low, you notice the little things and how happy they can make you. It's just apart of life.
